Due to the rise of AI-generated songs and AI-made virtual "artists", and the scraping of existing songs without consent, I no longer plan to make music. I will still sing and write songs in real life, without recording, but I no longer see a future in the industry.

I believe many small artists feel the same way. Artists who are already big, established names are doing alright, at the cost/benefit of the celebrity effect, but the rest of us can no longer get a foothold.

So, I will build a new dream. I will sing in my car. I will write music in my head. I will keep surviving, looking for the glimmers of light in a color only I can see.
